Our Prime Contract Vehicles
The 8(a) Program is a business assistance program that allows agencies to buy services and products directly from small disadvantaged businesses that are certified under the Small Business Administration. The 8(a) contract vehicle provides agencies a simplified, streamlined acquisition procedure to procure sole source contracts up to a ceiling of $4 million for goods and services. Malbaie is an SBA 8(a) certified company with a valid designation through November 18, 2027. The regulations governing the 8(a) BD program are located in Title 13 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Subpart A, Section 124 (13 CFR § 124).
8(a) STARS III, a small business set-aside GWAC, provides flexible access to customized IT solutions from a large, diverse pool of 8(a) industry partners. This next-generation GWAC builds upon the framework of 8(a) STARS II and expands capabilities for emerging technologies and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) requirements.
